Rasheedah Davis, MPH
Rasheedah's journey at Intercultural Family Services began in August 2021 when she joined the team as a Healthy Start Supervisor. Her exceptional management skills and wealth of child welfare knowledge quickly caught the attention of leadership, leading to her promotion as a program manager for Housing, Peer2You, and the Enhancing Parenting Skills Program (EPSP).
Rasheedah brings a vast skillset that expands to more than 19 years of supervisory, leadership, and child welfare experience. Before joining our agency, Rasheedah was a Home Certification Supervisor in the Foster Care Department at Turning Points for Children (TPFC), one of Philadelphia's largest Community Umbrella Agencies. At that time, she trained incoming supervisors and staff in certification and as Resource Parent Case Managers, which resulted in the expansion of doubling the size of the Foster Care Department. Before this position, she held many supervisory positions at Lutheran Children and Family Services (LCFS) for over ten years. She held supervisory positions in the following departments: Truancy, Family Preservation/Reunification, and SCOH. Furthermore, she facilitated groups for their parenting program and volunteered on three committees during her tenure at LCFS. For more than ten years, Rasheedah's additional work experience includes working at a residential facility with dual-diagnosis clients at Human Services.
She earned her Bachelor of Liberal Arts, with a minor in Public Health, from West Chester University. Demonstrating her thirst for knowledge, Rasheedah returned to pursue a Master of Public Health just six months later. Her learning journey continues as she plans to embark on a Master of Social Worker program at Widener University in 2023, with an expected graduation date in 2026.
Before college, she was raised in the Mount Airy section of Philadelphia, PA. Currently, Rasheedah lives in Delaware County with her husband and two children, where she has resided for the past 19 years.
