Marlie Krickus, MA, ATR-BC, LPC, LPAT, is a dedicated supervisor and therapist who excels as Outpatient Clinical Manager at IFS. She holds a Master’s in Art Therapy and Counseling from Drexel University and completed her undergraduate studies at Temple University and Delaware College of Art and Design. Marlie is a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania, a nationally certified art therapist, and a New Jersey Licensed Art Therapist.
With a wealth of clinical knowledge and experience in program and staff development, Marlie previously served as Program Coordinator and Clinical Supervisor for BetterWorld, an accessible outpatient therapy initiative. There, she oversaw the program’s growth, enhancing the quality of clinical services. She has also worked on clinical teams in inpatient psychiatric settings, developing treatment interventions to address individual and community needs.
Marlie maintains high person-centered standards, supporting children, families, and adults through a trauma-informed lens. As a supervisor, she promotes personal and professional excellence in therapists through collaborative problem-solving and a person-first approach.
Marlie has presented at National Art Therapy Conferences, sharing her research and advocating for improved therapeutic service delivery. She brings this compassionate energy to IFS, aiming to further develop the Outpatient Department to offer comprehensive, human-first services and a supportive environment for therapists.
