Kameron Zitelli

Board Chair

Kameron Zitelli is a parent and business leader with over a decade of experience building and operating a real estate investment and propertymanagement business across Pennsylvania. His work has spanned acquisitions, capital markets, legal matters, and the daily realities of managing large residential properties. These experiences shaped how he thinks about systems, people, and long-term organizational stability — especially during periods of pressure.

Raising his own children led Kameron to look more closely at how young people learn, what they’re exposed to, and the uneven access many urban families have to Nature and the developmental benefits that come from it. Those reflections eventually led to the early development of the De Natura Foundation, focused on giving underprivileged urban kids meaningful access to programs built around awareness, curiosity, and better decision-making through the exploration of the natural world.

Kameron’s approach to leadership is rooted in the belief that engaged, respected team members are the most important asset of any business or nonprofit. He approaches people consistently — whether a janitor, property manager, or major investor — and aims to create clarity and purpose across all levels of an organization through transparency and straightforward communication.

A significant part of Kameron’s business and the early work of his foundation are rooted in West Philadelphia, where he is committed to the long-term stability and growth of the community. His work has required navigating complex decisions, legal structures, and financial constraints while keeping operations steady under pressure. He brings practical strengths in operations, fundraising, partnership management, and working with diverse stakeholders, and believes this combination — a parent’s perspective, real operational experience, and a commitment to expanding opportunities for kids who typically have fewer of them — can support the long-term health and mission of IFS.
