Director of Community Programs

Ebony Gordon is the Director of Community Programs at Intercultural Family Services, Inc. overseeing IFS’s community-based programs;  CUA #3 and CUA #10 Truancy Intervention and Prevention Services, Family Empowerment Services, Gun Violence Prevention and Awareness Program, Housing and Parenting program.  As a critical member of the leadership team, she focuses on creating cadence and standards of practice that are consistently in alignment with all contractual standards and audit compliance. As part of her role, she oversees the execution, implementation, and supportive services provided by our staff within the community-based programs to the stakeholders, including schools, families, and community resources. 

 

Ebony has had 20  years of experience in the social services field, working with at-risk children and families experiencing difficulties in multiple facets of life to provide preventative services and resources. Ebony Gordon received her Master’s Degree in Human and Social Services with a specialization in Family Studies and Interventions from Walden University. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychological and Social Sciences from Penn State University. She also holds a Certification in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University.
