On Saturday, February 15th, Peer2You had the incredible opportunity to participate in Rep. Amen Brown’s 2nd Annual Youth Career & College Fair at 5800 Walnut St. The event, which ran from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, brought together youth, educators, community leaders, and organizations dedicated to empowering the next generation.

Peer2You, a mentorship and gun violence awareness initiative under Intercultural Family Services, Inc., was proud to connect with countless young people, offering guidance, resources, and support for those navigating their future paths. Our team engaged with attendees on topics such as career readiness, personal development, and the importance of mentorship in shaping success.

Throughout the event, Peer2You provided valuable information about our mentorship programs, life skills workshops, and community initiatives. Our team had dynamic conversations with students eager to learn more about post-secondary education, career opportunities, and personal growth strategies. Many young attendees expressed their enthusiasm for mentorship opportunities and left our table inspired to take the next step in their journey.

And to add to the excitement—we raffled off two HP laptops to lucky attendees! Congratulations to the winners!

The fair was a testament to the power of collaboration, with numerous colleges, trade schools, and businesses offering invaluable insights and pathways for success. Seeing so many driven and passionate young individuals seeking opportunities reinforced the importance of Peer2You’s mission to uplift and empower youth through education, mentorship, and community support.

We extend our gratitude to Rep. Amen Brown and his team for hosting such a meaningful event and for creating a space where young people can access crucial career and educational resources. Peer2You is excited to continue engaging with the community and helping youth build brighter futures.
