As summer winds down and the school year approaches, Intercultural Family Services' very own gun violence awareness program, PEER2YOU, is excited to host a special event to help our community prepare for the new school year. We warmly invite you to our Back to School Block Party—a day dedicated to giving back, supporting our youth, and celebrating community spirit!
What’s Happening?
At this event, we’re offering; (While Supplies Last!!)
- Barber Vouchers: Get ready for the new school year with a fresh haircut or braiding style. We’ve partnered with local barbershops to provide vouchers for these services.
- Backpacks & School Supplies: Stock up on the essentials. We’ll be giving away backpacks filled with everything students need to start the year off right.
- Agency Swag: Show your community pride with our exclusive Intercultural Family Services merchandise.
- Resource Vendors: Connect with a variety of local organizations that are eager to engage with you and offer support in any way they can.
But that’s not all! We’re making sure you have an unforgettable experience with:
- Delicious Food & Snacks: Enjoy a selection of tasty treats, including cotton candy, popcorn, and more.
- Water Ice & Pretzels: Cool off with refreshing water ice and enjoy pretzels provided by the local favorite, Dylan’s Water-ice.
