2nd Annual Hope Symposium on Gun Violence Prevention | Youth Stories and Community Solutions

Panel at Hope 2025

The Hope Symposium 2026 is a two-day community convening hosted by Intercultural Family Services (IFS), focused on amplifying youth voices and advancing community-driven solutions to gun violence and trauma in Philadelphia.

Taking place June 10–11, 2026, at IFS’s new home at 4240 Chestnut Street, the symposium will bring together young people, parents and caregivers, mental health professionals, educators, faith leaders, artists, advocates, and community partners for intentional dialogue and collaboration. The event will feature panel discussions, breakout sessions, creative expression, and a lunch reception designed to build connection, shared understanding, and collective healing.

Community voices are central to the Hope Symposium. Individuals interested in participating in the 2026 event—as panelists, artists, speakers, media partners, volunteers, sponsors, or collaborators—are invited to share their interest through our Community Participation & Interest Form.
